1. What this application is

Hermes Agent — Personal ("the App") is a private, self-hosted instance of the open-source Hermes Agent framework, operated by its owner (Satpal Kaler, "the Operator") for personal use. The App connects to Google services (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Contacts) at the direction of its owner.

2. Who this policy covers

The App is used by its owner only. It is not offered to the public and does not accept sign-ups. If you are seeing this page from the Google consent screen, it is because you are authorizing the App to access your own Google account, or you are reviewing the App's identity.

3. What data is accessed

• Gmail — read, draft, send, and label management, on request.
• Google Calendar — create, read, and update events, on request.
• Google Drive / Docs / Sheets — locate, read, create, and organize files, on request.
• Google Contacts — read contact names and addresses to address messages, on request.

The App never accesses data beyond the Google account of the consenting user.

4. How data is stored and secured

• OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored only on the Operator's own private server, protected at rest and accessible solely to the Operator.
• Tokens are never sold, shared, rented, or transmitted to any third party.
• Message, document, and calendar content is processed transiently to fulfill the owner's requests and is not persistently retained by the developer.
• Data may be transmitted to third-party AI providers (such as the configured LLM provider) solely to generate responses, under those providers' terms; API-provider data-use policies apply to such processing.

5. Data retention & deletion

The Operator retains no central copy of user data. OAuth tokens and any locally cached data can be deleted at any time upon request by emailing satpalkaler.sk@gmail.com. Users can also revoke the App's access at any time via their Google Account permissions page.

6. Limited use disclosure

The App's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
